Once a manuscript is received by the chief editor, he can start the evaluation process or select one member of the editorial comitee for processing.  The chief editor or editorial board member will usually request the manuscript review by two external peer referees. The observations and comments from reviewers will be sent back to autors and three possible cases of evaluation are expected: acceptance, acceptance with changes (minor or major) and rejection. The whole process is expected to finish in less than 4 months, however it will depend of the topic of the manuscript and availability of referees to evaluate.

The journal publishes an annual volume. Occasionally, more than one annual number can be published. The journal can encourage the publication of a thematic issue, additional to the regular issue.

The journal provides free and immediate access to works that have been accepted through its section on "Next articles". Papers in final format are published with unrestricted access to all its contents, barely volume / number that has been included is published.
